Corey’s path to CrossFit started on the page. Before joining a box, he spent almost a year reading everything he could about it. During his free-time, Corey would tinker with creating his own WODs. He was in the best shape of his life, so much so that it helped him ace the grueling Officer Selection Course for the Hawaii National Guard.

While serving, Corey’s dedication to fitness was undeniable. He was eventually chosen to program his unit’s daily workouts. Once he returned to civilian life, he learned more about the CrossFit community and was determined to be a part of it. As a coach, he focuses on form and technique. He believes it’s the key to building a functional and better-looking body.

Most recently, Corey has turned his attention to yoga – and how yoga can make CrossFitters stronger, healthier, and better all-around athletes. If there’s one thing he believes in, it’s constant improvement of the body and mind.
