Don't be scared. We're a very welcoming community and we all started where you are now. All we expect from you is an open mind and a willingness to work hard. We'll show you the ropes.

Your Free Consultation

The first step is easy. Just reach out to us to schedule a free one-on-one consultation with a coach. We'll assess your fitness level and experience with CrossFit movements, and talk to you about your goals. Are you trying to lose weight? Run faster? Lift more? We'll help you put together a plan that gets you where you want to go.

Your First Classes

If you're brand new to CrossFit, we'll either recommend a few sessions with a personal trainer to get you up to speed, or recommend you get familiar with our 9HIIT conditioning classes.  These sessions and classes will introduce you to the CrossFit basics and bodyweight movements like pull-ups, lunges, box jumps, and kettlebells. When you're feeling ready, you can get familiar with the barbell.

Beginner Barbell

The beginner barbell class is required of all new CrossFit 9 members prior to joining a traditional CrossFit class.  This class is offered twice during the week (check out our schedule), or we can schedule a private session if those times don't suit your needs. You'll learn proper form for squats, bench press, and deadlift as well as how to perform Olympic lifts like clean, jerk, and snatch.  Don't be scared!  Our coaches break down the movements to make them accessible to anyone -- even complete lifting novices.

Jump right in!

Once you've got all of your CrossFit training complete and are ready to join our traditional CrossFit classes, just pick a class and show up! Some classes (like our 4:30 and 5:30 pm classes) require an advance RSVP on Wodify, but most can accommodate anyone that wants to join.

You'll show up, sign in, and get to work. It's that easy.  You can also start using Open Gym time to work on specific movements or stretch, and can always lean on personal training with our coaches to help you reach your goals.  We're here to guide you on your fitness journey, and every journey is different. Your path is yours to forge, and we can't wait to see you around the gym.
